Did Pompeii affect any more city?

The eruption of Mount Vesuvius that destroyed Pompeii also affected several other Roman cities and towns in the vicinity. Herculaneum, Oplontis, and Stabiae were also buried under ash and debris, and suffered significant damage and loss of life. The eruption had a devastating impact on the region, resulting in the loss of thousands of lives and the destruction of numerous ancient Roman settlements.
