Translate your college diploma(s) into Spanish, either yourself or with the help of a professional translation service. Take your original and translated diplomas to a consulate to have the Spanish version notarized and legalized.
Confirm with your local consulate that you have all of the necessary documents and certificates for the application process when you arrive in Ecuador.
Visit the Ministry of Exterior Relations office in Quito after you arrive in Ecuador. They will recommend to you a lawyer, if necessary, to expedite the process.
