Download the Schengen Visa Application from the KSA Visa website (see Resources). Print out the three-page form and complete it in black ink.
Gather your supporting documents. When you submit your visa application, you must include two passport-style photos against a white background, a photograph of your passport, photocopies of any past visas, proof of medical insurance for at least two months, a letter of employment from your employer stating your salary, hotel and air travel bookings, bank statements and any letter of school admission.
Submit your visa application in person along with supporting documents, your original passport and the visa application fees to the SKA Visa Center in Jeddah. The visa fee for adults, as of January 2011, is 60 euros and must be accompanied by an additional 80 Saudi riyals for service charges. The fees can be paid in cash or credit or debit card. No appointment is needed; simply go to the SKA Visa Center at Manazil Muttaqin Street, Al Rowais District, Jeddah, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday to Wednesday.
Wait for your passport and application receipts to arrive in the mail. You will receive a receipt stamped with a date. This is your appointment date to appear at the consulate general of France, on Al-Shouara Street in Jeddah's Al-Hamra District. You need only bring your passport and received receipts with you to the appointment.
