Although there is no primary tourist temple to visit in Kuta Beach, there are numerous smaller temples spread along the main road where local Balinese come to present offerings and pray every morning and late afternoon.
Along Jalan Pantai Kuta, you'll see Pura Batu Bolong at the end of a rocky promontory perched on the Indian Ocean. On Kuta Sidewalk is Pura Penataran, also known as the Moon Temple. Inside is The Moon of Pejeng, regarded as Indonesia's most esteemed antique from the Bronze Age. A third temple, Pura Kalangan Majelangu, is a few meters east from the main gate in Kuta Beach.
