How to Find a Post Office in London

If you are a visitor or new resident in London, England, you might initially have difficulty in locating a nearby post office in such a large city. Fortunately, the country's Royal Mail Group postal service operates an interactive Post Office website that can locate the nearest post office. You only need to enter your postcode for a list of nearby post offices. If you do not know your postcode, you can enter an address to find it.

  Visit the Post Office's Postcode Finder website if you do not know your postcode (See Resources). Enter as much of your London address as you can to find the postcode for your location.

  Visit the Post Office's Branch Locator web page to identify post office locations near you (See Resources). This locator will identify post offices in your area of London once you enter your postcode.

  Review the list of post offices that are in your postcode. You can click on "View Map" for each listed post office to obtain directions and view the office's location on a map. Post office hours are also listed for each location.
