How to Get Your CP Parking Pass

Cedar Point promises fun, sun and thrills, but it comes at a price. Before any line-waiting or corndog-eating can commence, the crucial first step is entering the parking lot. Whether you're a visitor for a weekend or a long-time local, your Cedar Point parking pass is the only way to begin your day at America's roller coaster capital.

Instructions

Get to the Point. Cedar Point is located on the Lake Erie peninsula in Sandusky, Ohio. To enter Cedar Point via the main causeway, take the Ohio Turnpike to Route 250 and head north, or use Route 4 North. For both options, there are signs that lead the way.

Visit the brown kiosks. There will be a number of attendants waiting at the drive-through kiosks to collect your parking fees or review your materials.

    • 3

Pay the price. A one-time entry to Cedar Point is $10 for cars and motorcycles; campers, trailers and trucks cost $15 to get in with an additional $0.50 toll charge. These fees only cover parking costs and do not include entry to the park. This is due at the time of entry at the kiosk. This will cover your parking fees for that day only.

Buy the Platinum Pass. If you plan on visiting Cedar Point multiple times throughout the season, the Platinum Pass has free parking included. Once you've parked your car, you can purchase a Platinum Pass at the office near the front gates. For Platinum Pass holders, showing your card at the brown kiosk on the causeway is all that's required to enter the parking lot.
