Latitude is the horizontal measurement used to describe a point on the earth's surface. Longitude, on the other hand, is the vertical measurement used to describe a point on the earth's surface. You can find the address associated with latitude and longitude coordinates by inputting the points into an Internet-based latitude and longitude finder tool.
Open a latitude and longitude finder tool on your computer (see Resources). Examples of latitude and longitude finder tools include SteveMorse.org, Itouch Map and Findlatitudeandlongitude.com.
Enter the latitude and longitude coordinates of the point you want to find an address for in the appropriate fields.
Click the "Determine Address," "Go" or "Load" button to display the latitude and longitude of the address.
