How to Change an Address to a Global Position
Global position refers to the longitude and latitude of a location on the surface of the earth. Longitude lines run from the North Pole to the South Pole. Latitude lines circle the earth north and south of the equator. The process used to convert a street address into a global position is called Geocoding. After the longitude and latitude are entered into your GPS device, you can use your GPS to show you how to get to the location.
