How to Change My Mailing Address in Detroit, Michigan

Part of the preparation for moving is changing your mailing address. After completing a change of address request through the United States Postal Service, you can have your mail forwarded for up to one year. During this time, you should inform all of your contacts of your new address. Although the USPS does cover mail deliveries, you must remember to change your address for any newspaper subscriptions you receive. Contact the newspaper company directly.
