Go to the U.S. Census Bureau website.
Click the "Quick Facts" link along the right and choose a state from the interactive map, or select a state from the right-hand menu on the home page.
Click the "place search" link near the top of the page above the "Select a city" menu.
Enter the zip code, if known, or the name of the city or town you wish to locate. Select the state and click "go."
View the results which are displayed in Town, County, State format.
