Carry a backpack with incidentals and place a poncho inside if the weather seems changeable on the day you attend Irish Fest. All items, including purses, are subject to search.
Carry your cell phone with you and make sure the attendees you bring along have at least one phone in case you get separated. Have your children memorize your cell phone number or attach a bracelet on their wrist with your number on it. There are lost child services available at the festival that will help you do this.
Bring money with you as you will need it to sample the many Irish foods and beverages available. There are also many different shops filled with ethnic clothing, goods and accessories.
Book your hotel at least a week in advance if you are planning to come from out of town. You will want a hotel either in the North Shore area, north, downtown or even West, which is the Wauwatosa area. You could also plan to stay with family or friends.
