Each year, the southern state of Florida attracts dozens of trade shows, mostly offered in the highly-populated and tourist-friendly Orlando area. The state's numerous convention halls and expo centers play host to some of the country's--and the world's--most prominent construction and industrial trade shows, which feature hundreds of exhibitors displaying the latest technology in tools.   1. International Builders Show

    • Established in 1945, the National Association of Home Builder's International Builders Show stands as the largest residential building industry trade show on the planet. Tool aficionados appreciate the abundance of suppliers and manufacturers exhibiting tools for the the building, architectural and developmental markets. The Orlando County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, hosts the 2011 International Builders Show, which boasts 1,200 exhibitors including Blackpoint, Bosch, Craftsman, Duracell, Gaco and General Electric.     Southeast Building Conference

    • The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, hosts the 2011 Southeast Building Conference. Since 1978, SEBC has played host to networking opportunities, educational programs and product demonstrations. Billed as one of the largest building industry trade shows in the southeast, SEBC features 100,000 square feet of building products and services on display from roughly 300 manufacturers. Exhibited tools range in category from masonry products to pavers to steel and framing products to painting supplies.     Design-Build Conference and Expo

    • In the autumn season, the Design-Build Conference and Expo attracts nearly 2,000 architects, engineers, general contractors and specialty contractors from all sorts of industries. While conferences are the focus at this trade show, the exhibit hall features booths from hundreds of companies. Past exhibitors and conference attendees include Amtrak, Clayco, Honeywell and Mercedes-Benz. The World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, is home to the 2011 Design-Build Conference and Expo.
