How to Buy Statue of Liberty Tickets Online

The Statue of Liberty remains one of the United States' most recognized monuments. This gift from France serves as a beacon of freedom and draws many visitors each year to Liberty Island. According to the U.S. National Park Service, the Statue of Liberty was dedicated on Oct. 28, 1886, and designated as a National Monument in 1924. Nearby Ellis Island served immigrants as the first stop in their new homeland. In 2010, both Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty welcomed visitors despite ongoing renovations. Make the most of your time in these historic places by purchasing tickets online instead of standing in line.
