Logan Canyon is one of Utah's 17 snowmobile complexes. Winding through the Wasatch-Cache National Forest of northern Utah, Logan Canyon is regularly featured as one of the best riding areas in the western United States. The area is connected by 180 miles of seven regularly groomed trails through Logan Canyon, connecting through neighboring snowmobile complexes--Hardware Ranch and Monte Cristo--and Idaho's trail system. Amazon Trail is a six-mile, well-groomed trail and connects Garden City, Utah, with Beaver Lodge and its trails. The trail is generally well suited for beginner and intermediate riders, although the first mile from the east is prone to drifting.
Originating at Beaver Creek Lodge, this 14.6-mile trail links Utah's trail systems with those of Idaho. Beaver Creek Lodge provides public rentals, accommodations and food for travelers using this popular trail.
The Franklin Basin Trail links the trail systems of Utah and Idaho via 12.1 miles of a wide, easy route. The trail is widely used and regularly groomed, but conditions can change quickly in the higher portions of the trial.
Connecting Garden City with the Sinks are 6.7 miles of twisting, narrow and moderately difficult trail. The Garden City end provides views of wintering wildlife and panoramic views of the Bear Lake Valley.
The Sinks Trail is one of the longer trails in the Logan Canyon complex at 27.6 miles, and it is popular with local residents for its scenic views and the access it provides to hill climbing and other recreational areas. The challenging Sinks Trails connects Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area with the Sinks Winter Sports Trailhead.
The Temple Canyon Trail, another favorite of local residents, is a moderately difficult 4.9-mile trail that is groomed weekly and provides access to deep powder areas near Temple Flat. The eastern end of the trail is renowned for the views that it provides of wildlife.
Towards Logan, the Tony Grove Trail winds through Logan Canyon and provides mountain trail riding. The Tony Grove Recreation Area offers many winter play opportunities, making the 6.8-mile trail popular among locals and visitors alike.
