About 17 miles from Loudonville you’ll find Rolling Ridge Ranch. It’s not your normal, run-of-the-mill ranch. Although it does have animals, most of them are not what you’d expect to find. The ranch is populated with more than 500 birds and animals from around the world. You can get a close-up view of the animals during a wagon wide around the ranch, or you can have your own “safari” in your car, if you choose. There’s also a petting zoo.

The main barn was built in 1890 and rebuilt in 1994. The Schrack House, which now serves as a restaurant, was built in the early 1800s. Visitors can stay overnight at the hostel or camp at one of the primitive campsites on the property.
