  1. Rochester Museum & Science Center Winter Exhibit

    • Every winter, the Rochester Museum and Science Center provides the community with an exhibit to demonstrate science or history. For example, in 2010 the Rochester Museum and Science Center showcases "CSI: The Experience." This hands-on exhibit is an extra fee aside from museum entry and demonstrates forensic science used by investigators at the crime scene.

    Yuletide in the Country

    • Every year on December weekends, visitors can visit the Genesee Country Village and Museum for a step back in time. The museum is decorated as Christmas was celebrated in the 19th century. The decoration includes museum artifacts as well as Christmas cheer displays, snacks and caroling. Aside from displays, the event also includes live re-enactments of Christmas in the 1800s.

    Sweet Creations Gingerbread House

    • Visit the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography every December to witness homemade gingerbread houses. These are not your average gingerbread houses, they are made by artists who use elaborate products to create these masterpieces. Every year, different artists take part in this even that allows you to explore your imaginative side through these 70 original, baked goods.
