Although New York City may take precedence as New York's most popular tourist destination, there's a whole different world to explore in the state's upstate region and in Albany. From mountains and caves to wonders of the world and historic museums, upstate New York offers a mix of adventure and beauty that differentiates itself from the hustle and bustle of city life.
A popular upstate New York tourist attraction is Niagara Falls. Here guests can take a Maid of the Mist boat tour near the falls, explore Niagara Falls State Park and enjoy the numerous museums that dot the area. Niagara wine tours and cruises on the Erie Canal are also offered.
