Springfield's SkyPlex is open to the general public two nights a week on Friday and Saturday.
Friday nights are for Latin music hosted by DJ Mambo, featuring bachata, salsa and meringue. He is assisted by iDJ Coach who keeps the dance floor moving with reggaeton and freestyle. There are free salsa dancing lessons from 10 until 10:30 p.m.
Saturday nights are a general night featuring Top 40, reggaeton and dance.
Both nights are 21 and older with a cover charge of $5 as of 2010. SkyPlex has a strict dress code that forbids hats, sleveless shirts, workboots, athletic gear, baggy clothes and torn clothing.
