Wanderlust World Wanderlust World Norman is a city in central Oklahoma, approximately 20 miles south of downtown Oklahoma City. Norman is primarily known as the home of the main campus of the University of Oklahoma. With around 30,000 students in town, Norman has several night clubs with large dance floors that cater to college students.
Opie's Nightclub on West Lindsey Street is a popular establishment that offers a variety of dance music, including rock and roll and country. Special events throughout the week include two-for-one drinks nights on Tuesdays, free pools nights on Wednesdays and ladies nights on Thursdays. Ladies that evening pay a small cover charge, but their drinks are on the house. Opie's has two different areas where patrons can dance with each section having its own ambiance. DJ's are on hand on weekends to spin music. One side of the night club also has pool tables. Patrons can sign up on Opie's website to receive notifications of various events and specials.

Club 101 attracts a lot of University of Oklahoma students, who often book private parties at this popular night club. Club 101 has several dancing areas, including a main 2,000 square foot floor, with the music provided by live DJs. Drink specials are regularly offered at Club 101, which is open Thursday through Saturday from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. Food can be ordered until closing time. In addition to the dance floors, Club 101 also has a sports bar ambiance with multiple TVs showing a variety of sporting events. Patrons can also take advantage of the night club's pool tables. The music varies from night to night, including a hip-hop showcase on Saturdays.

The Deli on the Campus Corner in Norman is open seven days a week from 4 p.m to 1:55 a.m. One of the oldest night clubs in this section of the city, the Deli's biggest attraction is live music, featured seven days a week. The Deli presents a wide range of bands, including entertainers who play country, folk and rock. In addition to the live performances, events at The Deli include Open Mic Nights and a happy hour on Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m. that is hosted by a DJ and has no cover. To get in The Deli you must be 21 or older. Smoking is allowed at the establishment, which also hosts various fundraisers.
