Water Sports

• One of the most popular activities in Shaver Lake is to participate in various sports and activities in the titular lake. Rental equipment is available, and vacationers can rent practically any piece of water equipment, such as canoes, fishing boats, Malibu sailboats, pontoon boats, paddle boats and kayaks. These boats are generally used on Shaver Lake. Huntington Lake is ideal for sailing, while fishing is a popular activity on Shaver Lake.

Shaver Lake Art Center

You can visit the center from Thursday through Mondays,from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Every third Thursday of the month, the center stays open late for a special program called ArtHop, which features a different gallery open to the public. The center focuses on promoting local artists, and bringing art to the community. Among the many different types of art showcased, the center specializes in block prints wood carvings, acrylics, Japanese Rokoan origami, watercolors and jewelery.
