Operated by the Waldorf-Astoria brand, the Arizona Biltmore is a luxury hotel located on East Missouri Avenue in Phoenix. Renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright served as the consultant for the building of the resort, which began in 1929. The hotel consists of 740 guest rooms, eight swimming pools, seven tennis courts, a full-service spa and a championship golf course. In addition to the restaurants located on the property, the area surrounding the hotel provides numerous dining options for Biltmore guests.
Wright's at the Biltmore is on the property of the Arizona Biltmore and gets its name from the hotel's architect. The restaurant incorporates fresh ingredients into its dishes, with the menu changing frequently to include the very best items available for each season. Many of the herbs used in the recipes grow right on the premises. In addition to the a la carte menu, the chef prepares a nightly prix fixe tasting menu that allows guests to sample three courses and a dessert. The tasting can also come with a wine pairing for each course. Past entrees included as a la carte or tasting menu selections include cherry-burgundy braised short ribs, lavender lamb loin and roasted Alaskan black cod. Wright's at the Biltmore is typically open nightly for dinner though the restaurant may close for special events. Brunch is available every Sunday. The restaurant recommends reservations and suggests business casual attire.
