The Fairhope Inn & Restaurant is located in a home that is over a century old. The chef went to the renowned Culinary Institute of America. The restaurant is elegantly decorated with wooden furnishings, white tablecloths, candlelight and tropical plants. Signature dishes include tuna wrapped in nori, Louisiana oysters, seared scallops on top of risotto, curried shrimp, fish tapenade and grilled tuna. Entrees are priced in the $25 range. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, and for Sunday brunch.

As the name suggests, Wintzell's Oyster House specializes in oysters, but it also serves other seafood and non-seafood items. The moderately priced menu offers oysters prepared several different ways. Its menus features pasta, shrimp, crab cakes, steak, chicken and fish. The restaurant can host special events and cater private parties and has gotten some good reviews, including one from Southern Living Magazine. It is located downtown and serves lunch and dinner daily. The restaurant's casual environment features wooden tables, exposed brick walls and softly lit hanging light fixtures. It is a good family dining option, because it is laid-back with a good range of items on the menu.
