Florida Attractions for Kids

Everyone knows that Florida is home of Disney World, arguably one of the most famous theme parks in the world, but there are dozens of other kid-friendly attractions throughout the state. Maybe you have kids interested in space travel or little ones that are crazy about animals, or maybe your bunch just wants to play in the water all day. Florida has something for everyone.

  1. Walt Disney World

    • World-famous Walt Disney World is better than ever. Disney's Magic Kingdom has live entertainment, beloved characters, rides and restaurants, all combining for a magical experience. Epcot showcases the cultures of 11 nations, but also has its share of rides and shows. One of the highlights of Epcot is the iconic Spaceship Earth. Also a part of Disney World is Hollywood Studios, where film-inspired attractions and shows are featured and the 500-acre Animal Kingdom, home to 1,700 animals, shows, parades and rides. Two first-class water parks are also part of the resort.

Small groups of guests are led into the pool to "meet" their dolphin, where you'll become acquainted with your new friend. The 30-minute encounter ends with a thrilling dorsal fin ride back to shore. There is also an aviary, an 80 degree freshwater bay, a relaxing river and a tropical reef, where you can interact with stingrays. Discovery Cove packages include 14-day unlimited admission to SeaWord, Aquatica or Busch Gardens.
