While golf may not be the first thing that pops into mind when thinking of Nebraska, the agricultural state is in fact home to a variety of courses that cater to players of every skill level. Indoor golf ranges are popular in the state, offering players professional instruction, practice facilities and simulators that let them enjoy virtual play on some of the most famous courses in the country and around the world.
Beyond Golf is located on the outskirts of Omaha, Nebraska, in the town of La Vista. The facility is open seven days a week, year-round. High definition simulators may be rented by the hour for private lessons, tournaments or a friendly game. Simulators allow players to virtually visit some of the most well-known and beautiful golf courses around the world, including Pebble Beach, Bayhill and Pinehurst. During the summer season, from May 1 to August 31, Beyond Golf is open Monday and Sunday for prepaid tee times only, and Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. During the winter season, from September 1 to April 30, Beyond Golf is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m.

The Wilderness Ridge Golf Course, a full outdoor course, is home to the Nebraska Golf Academy. Located in the town of Lincoln, in southwestern Nebraska, the academy is open year-round. The facility houses seven covered, heated hitting bays, two teaching bays and more than 2,000 square feet of putting and chipping surface. Video analysis equipment is present in each teaching bay, allowing golfers to get an in-depth look at their game. Multiple bays may be rented at once for groups to enjoy. The hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Mike Klein Championship Golf is part of the West Nebraska Field of Dreams, an indoor softball, baseball and golf arena. Located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Mike Klein's golf facility is home to a Golftek simulator that offers more than 20 three-dimensional golf courses, including St. Andrews and Kapalua. Up to eight players may enjoy a single golf course at a time, and all have the option of choosing pin positions, weather conditions and other factors, allowing golfers to customize every game. Former PGA tour player Mark Klein is also available for professional instruction.
