Indoor Activities in St. George, UT

The town of St. George, the largest city in Washington County, is located in southern Utah. Named for Mormon apostle George Smith, the town was originally a settlement for the Mormon church who had plans to create farms to grow everything from cotton to potatoes. Today, it is a destination known for its moderate climate and proximity to many nearby natural landmarks. Within the city, there are several locations where visitors and residents can also enjoy a variety of indoor activities.

Made from a combination of adobe, plaster and rock, the two-story house includes a wraparound porch with gardens that surround the home on three sides as well as furniture made by Young himself. The home is open daily with extended hours during the summers.
