The Minnesota Children's Museum is located in St. Paul and is home to several exhibits, hands-on activities and educational programs. The museum opened in 1981 and has had more than 6 million visitors as of September 2010. Some exhibits include earth world, habitot for toddlers, rooftop artpark and world works. In earth world, children will learn about the outdoors and in world works, children can get hands-on with water, experiments and problem solving. Mall of America is located in Bloomington at Interstate 494 and Highway 77. The mall is approximately 4.2 million square-feet and is home to several attractions. Kids will enjoy the The Park at the Mall of America, which is the largest indoor amusement park in the country and spans more than seven acres. The Park has a log flume, two roller coasters and over 30 other children's rides. The LEGO Imagination Center is located in the mall and has big tables of LEGOs for children to play with. The Underwater Adventures Aquarium is beneath the Mall of America and is home to over a million gallons of water. Guests stand on moving sidewalks that take you through tunnels of aquariums and sea creatures. The mall is also home to more than 500 stores and many restaurants.

Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground is located in Woodbury on the lower level of Central Park. The indoor playground is an exciting attraction for children 12 and under. Sound effects accompany the few slides, forests, a cave and a tree house. The playground has a 30-foot super slide, foam fallen tree and a large tree house. Lookout Ridge offers guests free wireless Internet. Discount group rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Birthday party packages are available for this indoor park.
