Joker’s Wild Comedy Club is open four nights a week--Wednesday through Saturday--offering a mix of professional comics, open-mic nights and comedy contests. There are drink specials most nights and Saturday evening there are two show times offered. There is a two-drink minimum at all shows and you must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Located in Hartford, a little more than a half-hour from Milford, is the City Steam Brewery Café featuring the Brew Ha Ha comedy club. Operating since 1987, the Brew Ha Ha offers comedy acts Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Top comedians from such venues as Comedy Central, Las Vegas and the Improvisation Comedy Clubs perform regularly.
