The Mystery Dinner Playhouse is an entertainment venue that specializes in "popular comedy mystery dinner theater." The club hosts comedic mysteries, which audience members are encouraged to help solve. A four-course dinner is also served during the entertainment, which consists of five scripted scenes, each between 10 and 15 minutes long. (The food is served between these scenes, giving the audience a chance to focus on the clues and the comedic efforts of the crew.) 2010 marks the venue's sixteenth year. A chain operation, there are several other locations, including in Richmond and Virginia Beach.
