• The Desert Sands RV Park is located in Phoenix, 26 minutes north of the center of Glendale. Seventy sites---all back-in--are available; 55 sites can accommodate Class A RVs. Full hookups include 30- or 50-amp connections. Telephone and television connections are also available. The park's amenities include a pool, mailboxes, laundry room and a rubbish station. Pets are welcome. This park is 2 miles from the entrance to the Adobe Dam and Thunderbird Recreation Area.

• Donorma RV Park is located in the town of Surprise, about a 25-minute drive northwest of Glendale. Fifty-six sites--both back-in and pull-through--are available for RV camping. Class A motorhome space is not available. Campers have full hookups at their disposal, including water, sewer, Wi-Fi and 50-amp electrical connections. Other amenities include satellite TV, RV storage, laundry facilities, showers and restrooms. Pets are welcome, but beware---a large population of feral rabbits resides in the park.

Deserts Edge RV Village

• Deserts Edge RV Village is a 25-minute drive north of central Glendale. This park maintains 200 pull-through and back-in sites with space available for Class A motorhomes. Hookups include 50-amp electrical, water, Wi-Fi and sewer connections. Deserts Edge also has a pool, spa, fitness room, basketball court, book exchange, playground, billiards room and a grooming shop for your pets. Guests are welcome to bring two pets. The park is situated halfway between Phoenix Deer Valley Airport and the Adobe Dam Recreation Area.
