The D & W Lake campground can be reached after a 15 minute drive north from the center of the city. Fifty campsites are offered with a combination of back-in and pull-through spaces. Some spaces are suitable for Class A motor homes. Hookups include both 30- and 50-amp connections. Also available are showers and bathrooms, a rubbish station, ice, a convenience store, propane and firewood. If your pets are leashed they are welcome.

The Tincup RV Park can be found in the town of Mahomet, 17 minutes to the northwest of Champaign. Seventy-five campsites are available to RV campers. There are 18 pull-through sites and 35 sites have full hookups. The Tincup also offers numerous tent sites, a golf driving range, a rubbish station, showers, restrooms and a playground. Your pets are welcome.

The Champaign Sportsmen's Park can be reached by driving 17 minutes northeast of Champaign to the town of Mahomet. The park has 158 sites, 28 of which are pull-through spaces. All sites have electric, including sites with 50-amp service. Fifteen sites have full hookups with sewer and water. Other amenities include a recreation room, rubbish station, toilets, showers and lake access for swimmers, boaters and anglers. Pets are welcome.
