Big-rig and pull-through sites accommodate large RVs. Showers, laundry and an RV dump are among the services offered. Wireless Internet access is provided, and pets are allowed.
Noise intruding from the adjacent highway and railroad make Talkeetna Camper Park the noisiest option. A gift shop is located near the main office and provides a number of souvenirs. The friendly staff is eager to offer advice regarding the many activities located just beyond the campground's boundary.

Talkeetna RV Park and Campground, located one-half mile from downtown, offers a convenient locale to base recreational activities from. Each of the 60 shaded campsites are within reach of fishing and boating opportunities. Pull-through and back-in sites are available. This is a "dry" RV park run by the city and provides no hookups or electrical services.
Fire rings, grills and picnic tables are scattered throughout the campground. Showers can be found at the Roadhouse, a local restaurant and lodge, located 5 minutes from the RV park. An on-site bathroom and dump station are situated adjacent to a general store, which provides tackle and ice among other essential camping needs. Both Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

The convenient turnaround and pull-through sites can hold large RVs. The unpaved property sits in the beautiful Mat-Su Valley and is surrounded by wild Alaskan wilderness.
An indoor shower, bathroom and laundry facility are well-maintained and clean. Essential camping supplies and basic comforts can be purchased within the adjacent convenience store and gift shop. Each site has its own dump station. Free wireless Internet and phone services are provided. Fishing licenses can be purchased on site.
