ATV Trails in Washington

Admitted to the Union in 1889, today Washington State is home to several cultural, historical and architectural attractions. Washington also has three national parks, nine national forests, 31 federally-protected wilderness areas and 23 national wildlife refuges. Some of these recreational areas have trails designed for riding ATVs.

  1. Beverly Sand Dunes

    • The Beverly Sand Dunes are located in Central Washington on Crab Creek Road, one mile east of the town of Beverly. The dunes consist of nearly 300 acres that have free flowing sand covering half of its entire area. These riding trails are open all year around. All ATVs must have red flags that are at least 12 inches in size and displayed 9 feet above the ground. The riding area is bordered by Crab Creek where there are picnic spots and shaded areas. The dunes are suitable for all ranges of riders, from beginner to intermediate. There are also free campsites available.
