  1. Copacabana Steakhouse

    • If you are particularly hungry after a long day, head to Port Chester for a deliciously-meaty meal at the Copacabana Steakhouse. This establishment is not a tribute to the legendary Barry Manilow, rather a festive Brazilian steakhouse sure to fill up even the hungriest of patrons. Take part in the "Meat Parade," which is the all-you-can-eat option that includes unlimited servings of 11 meats as well as a salad bar and side dishes. Servers make their rounds with various cuts of meat, and if you are interested in the meat they have to offer, you can tell them to cut you off a piece. Don't take too much meat at first or you'll never make it through all of the juicy varieties. With choices such as pork loin, turkey wrapped in bacon, Brazilian sausage, prime rib and barbecue chicken, the carnivore in you should be satisfied. Save room for some Brazilian White Chocolate Mousse or Caramel Flan for dessert. During the warm months, opt for a table on the patio. Copacabana Steakhouse is open for lunch and dinner Tuesdays through Sundays.

    Gianna's

    • If you are craving a large plate of ravioli or a gooey slice of pizza, look no further than Gianna's in Yonkers. Open daily for both lunch and dinner, you can get your Italian fill in a comfortable and warm atmosphere, perfect for a family dinner or even a date night. Start with the Stuffed Mushrooms or the Eggplant Rollatini Gianna, which is fried and wrapped with ricotta cheese, spinach and prosciutto. Try a cup of the Pasta e Fagiole, which is a macaroni and bean soup, or opt for a Caesar Salad or Arugula Salad. Gianna's brick-oven-baked pizzas, which are thin crust, come in three sizes; try a Milanese pizza for a unique flavor (veal cutlet, mixed greens, tomato and onions) or stick with a more traditional approach with the Calabrese (mozzarella, fresh tomato and pepperoni). If you are not in a pizza mood, try the Chicken Catalina, Veal Saltimbocca or one of the many pasta preparations. You can't go wrong with the Rigatoni Filetto Di Pomidoro, which is pasta with fresh-cut plum tomatoes with onions, prosciutto and basil. Stop by at lunch for smaller portions of the meals in addition to a selection or wraps, heroes and Focaccia sandwiches. Free delivery is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., as well as take-out, for those on the go.

    Season's Japanese Bistro

    • Located in the heart of White Plains, between the popular Galleria Mall and The Westchester Mall, Season's Japanese Bistro has the prime downtown locale and gourmet Japanese food down pat. Walking into the restaurant, you are greeted by simple, Zen-like Asian décor, with soft lighting and beautiful artwork throughout. The food is artfully presented on simple white plates, bringing out the food's color and texture. Start with one of the appetizers, some of which are seasonal. Try the Sushi Pizza; it's a crispy fried sushi rice cake with spicy mayo topped with your choice of spicy tuna or spicy salmon. The Crispy Banana Tuna (crispy banana roll with spicy tuna on the top with oshinko and scallion) has a unique flavor as well. If sushi is not your thing, the Yakitori, Edamame and Vegetable Gyoza are all delicious appetizers. Before your main course, enjoy a cup of Miso soup or Kani salad, which has crab meat, cucumber and mayonnaise dressing. The entrée menu is extensive, with several sushi and sashimi meals available as well as the dinner box option (served with tempura, California Roll, Shumai, soup, salad and rice) or a teriyaki or tempura meal. Save room for dessert, as the Fried Cheesecake, Tempura Banana or Tempura Ice Cream will most certainly satisfy that after-meal sweet tooth.
