Foxfire Cabins, open since 1984, are set in a quiet and rural area in the heart of Hill Country, Texas. Seven fully furnished log cabins, each with two bedrooms and one bathroom, are available for your stay. Guests may enjoy swimming and fishing in the nearby Sabinal River. Amenities at the cabins include patio furniture, barbecue grills, a laundry room and campfire wood that can be purchased for $10.00. For some relaxing entertainment, the office will let you borrow from the collection of board games, puzzles and VCR movies for free. While enjoying the nature of the outdoors, there is also plenty of wild birdseed available with which you can fill the bird feeders. A variety of rare birds like Black-capped Vireos and Golden Cheeked Warblers frequent the area. Guests must bring their own food and condiments to the cabins, as no meals are served on the grounds. Bathroom hygiene products are also not available in the bathrooms. Guests at the cabins may also visit nearby attractions such as the Lost Maples State Natural Area and Lonestar Motorcycle Museum.
