    • Galveston Beach is a small island located in south Texas near Houston. Galveston Island is 32 miles of scenic beaches, with areas offering their own personality. One beach in particular is most ideal for family entertainment. Stewart Beach sponsors family-oriented events like seasonal volleyball tournaments, sandcastle competitions and a children's playground. Stewart Beach welcomes large groups and families. The beach provides umbrella and chair rentals, volleyball courts and an outdoor pavilion. Community room are available for family reunions, weddings and other special events. Admission for cars is $8 and for buses and RVs, $10.
