Sea Rim State Park beach is widely known for its boat tours. Interpretive airboat tours are held during the spring, summer and fal. The one-hour tour gives guests an upfront view of the beach, the ocean and the diversity and wildlife of the park. Entry into the park is free. Special event and tour rates apply.

Galveston Beach is a small island located in south Texas near Houston. Galveston Island is 32 miles of scenic beaches, with areas offering their own personality. One beach in particular is most ideal for family entertainment. Stewart Beach sponsors family-oriented events like seasonal volleyball tournaments, sandcastle competitions and a children's playground. Stewart Beach welcomes large groups and families. The beach provides umbrella and chair rentals, volleyball courts and an outdoor pavilion. Community room are available for family reunions, weddings and other special events. Admission for cars is $8 and for buses and RVs, $10.

South Padre Beach is located just a few miles from the border of Mexico, and considered to be one of the most pristine beaches among other Texas favorites. Besides a scenic and Caribbean-esque feel, South Padre's beach has family-oriented activities such as windsurfing and parasailing, dolphin watching, jet skiing and horseback riding on the beach.
