  1. Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery Conservation Center

      Located on 211 acres in Branson, the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery Conservation Center was founded in 1957. This hatchery is the largest trout production facility that is part of the Missouri Department of Conservation trout production program, and typically produces 1,125,000 trout a year. Over 250,000 visitors come to the hatchery annually to see the trout and to learn more about raising fish. Guided hatchery tours are provided at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on weekdays.Visitors can also take self-guided tours.

    Stone Hill Winery

    • Oak casks contribute to the rich flavors of Stone Hill Winery's wine.

      With 160 years of wine making experience, Stone Hill Winery has been noted by locals and visitors alike as one of the area's most popular attractions. Stone Hill entertains thousands of guests on a free one hour each year. Touring the entire complex, guests see a film on wine making and learn about the vineyards and wine cellars at the company's main headquarters in Hermann, Missouri. Guests will also see and take in the scents of the aging wine in oak casks, and witness the bottling process. Tours end in one of six tasting rooms where samples are waiting. Various events take place throughout the year.

    Table Rock Lake and Dam

    • Visit Table Rock Lake and Dam near Branson.

      Created in 1958, this massive dam is located on the White River and is 6,423 feet long. Visitors can enjoy the grandeur of the dam and, with luck, will see an impressive man-made waterfall, as the water from Table Rock Lake is adjusted as needed. While in the area, visit Table Rock Lake for sightseeing, hiking, and swimming. Camping, fishing, boating, and scuba diving can be enjoyed for a fee.
