The city also features a theme park, water park and other exciting attractions. However, for those traveling on a budget, Branson also offers plenty of free activities to keep visitors entertained without going over their spending limits.
The Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery Conservation Center is located about six miles southwest of downtown Branson. At the center of the action is the town square, which features a giant water display known as the Branson Landing Fountain Show. This performance combines water jets shooting 120 feet into the air, firing cannons and choreographed light and music. Shows start at the top of the hour every day, with a special two-hour presentation at 7 p.m. The creator of the show, Wet Design, has also made similar fountain shows for Downtown Disney in Orlando and the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
