Children's Activities in Branson, Missouri

Branson, Missouri is a family-friendly vacation destination that houses everything from museums and award-winning amusement parks, to shopping facilities and live-performance theaters. The city, located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, has three lakes with hundreds of miles of shoreline, and more than 200 miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Branson has attractions and activities for kids of all ages.
  1. Silver Dollar City

    • Silver Dollar City is a family amusement park that combines shows, shops and restaurants with 30 rides and attractions. The park encompasses over 61 acres and has attractions for children of all ages. Some rides do have age and height restrictions. There is a measuring station on-site where kids can get measured and receive wristbands to make ride entry easy. Attractions include The Flooded Mine, Geyser Gulch, The Giant Swing and Grandfather's Mansion. Throughout the park kids can enjoy glass blowing, candy making and pottery demonstrations provided by more than 100 craftsman. A petting zoo is also on-site. As of October, 2010, admission to the park costs $53 for adults, $43 for kids ages 4 to 11 and $51 for seniors. Kids ages 3 and under get in for free.

    Branson Family Fun Factory

    • The Branson Family Fun Factory is geared towards entertaining kids and families. The facility has an 18-hole, glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course with themes such as the Treasure Room and Undersea Adventure. Guests can enjoy a game of laser tag in the 3,000 square foot laser tag arena that accommodates up to 16 people. The center can host birthday parties and company team-building activities for favorable rates. As of October, 2010 one game of laser tag or miniature golf costs $7. A combination of both is $11 per person.

    The Track Family Fun Park

    • The Track Family Fun Park is a kid-friendly facility that provides everything from bumper rides and go-karts to arcade games and miniature golf. For the younger kids, there are kiddie go-karts, a Ferris wheel and A Spinning Tea Cups ride. Older kids can enjoy bumper boats and cars and the G-Force, a drag race simulator. Miniature golf is available for kids of all ages. A 2,500 square foot laser tag facility is also on-site as is an arcade with more than 200 games. Attractions can be enjoyed on a pay-as-you-go basis and as of October, 2010, rides range from $2.50 to $60.
