Pasadena is a small town located just south of the city limits of Baltimore and features bars offering several varieties of entertainment. Local bands are featured on the stages of the Pasadena clubs each weekend and sometimes during the week as well. Music at the bars includes classic rock, hard rock, heavy metal and country. Large screen televisions and drink specials make the bars popular destinations to watch sporting events throughout the year.
Bamboo Bernie's combines rock music, an island theme and sports to create a club for multiple interests. Live bands play Friday and Saturday nights. During the week, there are various drink specials that change regularly, but the 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Happy Hour on Friday and Saturday is a staple of the club. The Happy Hour on Friday even includes a buffet for 25 cents.
Each month, a motorcycle show is held at Bamboo Bernie's, and the website announces other motorcycle events at other local bars. Although the bar is located just 20 minutes from downtown Baltimore, it is frequented by Pittsburgh Steelers fans for NFL games.

Billy V's Rock Bar and Grill is more than just a bar; it's a local entertainment venue. Local bands play every Saturday night. Tuesday nights draw a large crowd for the cornhole game tournament along with Happy Hour prices all night. Monday and Thursday nights feature drink specials such as $2.25 for a 20-ounce domestic draft and $2.50 for a domestic bottle, and Thursday night is ladies' night with all they can drink for $6 as of 2010. Food specials are offered several days of the week and change regularly. Discounted food is also available during televised NFL games.

McDoogal's is an adult entertainment club located on the border of Pasadena and Baltimore. The club requires you to bring your own alcohol. The cover charge as of 2010 is $13 for Monday through Thursday nights, $15 on Friday and Saturday nights. McDoogal's is closed Sundays. The club has more than 20 female dancers. For special events, a customer can pay $70 to be on the stage with one dancer for one song and $30 for additional dancers. The website for McDoogal's is not safe for work.
