Blues music has quite a history in the cities of the South as well as the urban centers of the North. Bars, restaurants and cafes throughout northern Georgia pack crowds in with live blues entertainment set against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether driving through the small mountain towns or the large metropolitan areas, visitors will find that blues music is common in Georgia.
The Crimson Moon Cafe and Music Hall offers an eclectic menu and five nights of live entertainment each week. Blues music is one of the most popular choices, but the Crimson Moon Cafe also designates nights for classic rock, country, bluegrass and acoustic performers. The Crimson Moon Cafe is open most days from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. and is closed Tuesdays. There is a cover charge in the evenings, but it varies depending on who is playing.
