Georgia is known for its warm weather, historic sites and many outdoor attractions.     • Leisure Acres Campground is a year-round park located close to the north Georgia mountains in the town of Cleveland. All RV sites come with full water, sewer and 30- to 50-amp electricity. Sites are also equipped with fire rings and picnic tables. Some pull-through sites are available. Deeded lots for people who want to become owners and permanent residents are for sale. Leisure Acres has both adult and kiddie pools, two private fishing ponds, a fishing dock and a camp store offering bait and tackle onsite. Children can entertain themselves in the playground, and adults can enjoy a game room with video games and a pool table. The park has its own pavilion, with a full kitchen and fireplace. Leisure Acres also has bathrooms, laundry facilities and hot showers. The resort has nightly, weekly, monthly, yearly and extended-stay rates. Leisure Acres is a Good Sam park, with special rates for Good Sam Club members.

    Creekwood Resort

    • Creekwood Resort is located on 18 acres of land close to Chattahoochee National Forest, in the town of Sautee, outside of Helen. There are 17 RV sites, all of them with water, sewer and 20-, 30-, to 50-amp electrical connections, as well as extended cable television. There are no pull-through sites, but some spaces can accommodate rigs up to 70 feet long. Every site also has its own picnic table and fire ring. Complimentary wireless Internet is available in some areas of the park. Creekwood Resort offers activities like volleyball and horseshoes, and is nearby Unicoi State Park and Ruby Falls, with hiking, fishing and nature trails. Creekwood Resort also has cabin rentals. The park is open year-round and has seasonal and off-season rates.

    Calhoun KOA

    • Calhoun KOA is located in the city of Calhoun, less than two miles from the mountain ranges of northern Georgia. The campground offers pony and horseback rides through the woods, a petting zoo, hayrides, miniature golf, a game room, and bicycle rentals. Guests can swim in the pool and then get pizza, hot wings and cheese sticks delivered to their campsites. Calhoun KOA also has a banquet room for special events, and a coffee shop for your morning cup of joe. RV sites come with 50-amp electricity, cable TV and free wireless Internet.
