Located 20 miles south of Dalton, Calhoun is home to the Calhoun KOA, which is less than two miles from Interstate 75 at exit 315. It has 98 sites including many pull-through sites. Amenities include water, sewer, patios and 30- and 50- amp electrical service. All sites receive free cable television service and free wireless internet.
The park offers pony rides, miniature golf, a petting zoo, hayrides, a swimming pool, bike rentals, a game room and a catch-and-release swimming pond. You can also purchase pizza, wings and mozzarella sticks to be delivered to your site.

Chatsworth is located roughly 14 miles east of Dalton and is home to Fort Mountain State Park. Seventy campsites serve RVs up to 50 feet with water, 20- & 30-amp electrical service, cable, picnic tables, grills and fire rings. The comfort station includes laundry facilities. The park features a 17-acre lake with a swimming beach, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, miniature golf and horseback riding trails. Campers can rent horses as well as fishing boats, canoes and paddle boats.
