Jekyll Island Campground is the only campground on Jekyll Island and offers 206 RV and tent camping sites on its 18 wooded acres, including pull-through sites and big-rig access sites. According to Jekyll-Island.net, the campground offers modern conveniences like electricity, 50 amp, water, sewer, cable TV, wireless Internet and modem hookups as well as two restrooms with showers. Rates change seasonally. Reservations are highly recommended. Located at the northern tip of Jekyll Island, the campground is across from the Clam Creek Picnic Area and within walking distance of Driftwood Beach, a fishing pier and historic ruins. The campground is convenient to bike trails and jogging trails.

Located off of I-95 between Savannah and Jacksonville, Blythe Island Campground and Regional Park is less than 18 miles from Jekyll Island. The campground offers 97 sites for tent and RV campers with electric, water, sewer and cable hookups, as well as wireless Internet. There are on-site laundry facilities and heated bathhouses with showers. According to N-Georgia.com, Blythe Island Campground features a wealth of outdoor activities, like swimming in the freshwater lake, fishing, volleyball, archery, bike trails and canoe and kayak rentals. The nearby Blythe Island Marina, located on the South Brunswick River, offers salt water fishing.

Lake Harmony RV Park is between Savannah and Brunswick in Townsend, Georgia, and is just a short drive to Jekyll Island. According to RV Park Reviews, the wooded 60-acre park has 126 sites with water, sewer, electric, 50 amp, cable and modem hookups. Lake Harmony RV Park features a spring-fed lake for swimming or fishing; kayak, paddle boat and row boat rentals; and a live bait and tackle shop. The park also offers a bathhouse, reception hall with kitchen and laundry facilities.
