Northern Georgia offers two distinctly different experiences for tourists. The Northeast Georgia mountain region is awash in the natural beauty of the foothills and mountains of the Appalachians. Chickamauga Battlefield

Vogel State Park

  Located at the base of Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest, Vogel State Park offers a wealth of outdoor recreational activities from hiking and camping to swimming and fishing.
