Helen Amusement Park has entertainment for the family and several amusement rides mostly for children. The rides include go-carts, bumper boats, a ball room, a train that takes the kids through the entire park, mechanical swings and the Tilt-A-Whirl. The family can play miniature golf or have a picnic lunch in the park picnic area.

Black Forest Bear Park is the home to several black bears and many species of reptiles. The bear exhibit is a combination of black bears and grizzly bears, while the reptile exhibit consists of venomous and nonvenomous snakes. The facility offers camping, but guests must pay close attention to the posted rules when it comes to interacting with the bears on site. The bears hibernate from January to March, and the park closes during this time.

The Habersham Winery & Vineyard is in the Nacoochee Village section of Helen, where guests can also enjoy shopping and camping. The winery offers daily wine tastings and allows guests to tour the facility on their own. At the end of the tasting and tour, guests can visit the gift shop, where they can purchase Habersham wines and gourmet foods.
