Home of the Washington State International Kite Festival each August, Long Beach is a perfect destination for flying kites, building sand castles and beach combing. The Anchor Restaurant & Lounge is located inside the Chautauqua Lodge next to the beach. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant features a banquet room and children's menu, while the lounge hosts live music on weekend nights. Traditional breakfast dishes are served along with espresso beverages, and lunch includes sandwiches, burgers and soups. A prime rib special is offered on weekend nights and a complete selection of seafood and poultry. Dining by the fireplace is also available in the lounge, which stays open later than the restaurant.

The Lightship Restaurant and Columbia Bar prides itself on offering diners a panoramic 180 degree view and features a nautical theme based on the ship from which the restaurant takes its name, the Columbia Lightship 604. An extensive breakfast menu is available each morning and features eight types of omelets and a Hangtown Fry with local oysters and bacon. In the afternoon, lunch dishes include salads, sandwiches, burgers, and smaller entrees. Dinner entrees are "Fresh from the Water" such as grilled Pacific salmon, or "From the Land" such as hand-cut premium steaks. Build-your-own pasta allows guests to select noodles, sauce, and other ingredients, and other pasta dishes include lasagna and shrimp Caprese. The Lightship is located on the top floor of the Edgewater Motel and next to the Discovery Trail and Boardwalk, perfect for strolling by the beach after a meal.
