The Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Downtown Detroit is one of two towers that make up the Millender Center complex, which is directly across the street from the Renaissance Center, the world headquarters of General Motors. The Millender Center also offers apartments in addition to the Courtyard hotel, so there are several sit-down and fast-service restaurants in the complex.
The Courtyard Café and Bar is the only Marriott-operated restaurant in the Millender Center/Courtyard complex. It offers a full bar and a range of traditional and speciality dishes. It is located on the first floor near the hotel entrance. In exchange for the convenience of being in the Courtyard hotel, entrees cost more than they would outside of the hotel. Despite this, the restaurant is a popular destination for hotel visitors and others doing business in Downtown Detroit.

Anton's Breakfast and Deli is a family-owned restaurant that specializes in serving breakfast all day long. It is located on the second floor of the Millender Center, one level above the hotel entrance and one floor below the People Mover train platform. The restaurant not only serves hotel clients, but also employees who work at the nearby City-County building and General Motors Renaissance Center. Anton's is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m until 4 p.m.

Tim Hortons, known primarily for its coffee and pastries, also offers full breakfast and lunch menus at the convenient location placed near the walkway to the GM Renaissance Center. Tim Horton's is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays. This location, on the second floor of the Millender Center, is the five-hundredth Tim Hortons location in the United States.

Rice Bowl Fresh Asian Kitchen is a Detroit-based chain that specializes in quick-service Asian food. Nestled in a small storefront next to Tim Hortons, Rice Bowl is a fast and tasty alternative to the hotel restaurant. Its location near the Renaissance Center means that hundreds of GM employees visit this location on a daily basis. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
