Seafood is a specialty of the house, such as the locally-caught swordfish served in a tomato stew, with white beans, linguisa Portuguese sausage and clams. For dessert, try the blueberry tart or the chocolate mousse cake. Featuring around 440 selections, the wine list is a past recipient of the "Wine Spectator" magazine "Award of Excellence." The Beach House serves dinner Tuesdays through Sundays and brunch every Sunday. The restaurant closes for business Mondays Reservations are recommended. Business casual attire is appropriate. As of September 2010, the restaurant held "Zagat" ratings of "very good to excellent" for its food, decor and service. Six appetizers lead the menu, such as the abissi marini cold, shrimp, calamari, clams, celery and olives in a lemon vinaigrette sauce. A signature pasta dish is the ravioli ai crostacei, which are stuffed with lobster and crab meat and covered in a basil sauce. Among the desserts are the tiramisu and New York cheesecake, both of which are made on the premises. The wine list features more than 60 selections. Positano's Restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily. Reservations are highly suggested. Casual attire is acceptable.
