The Everglades is a subtropical wetland area extending south from Lake Okeechobee to Florida Bay between the mainland and the Florida Keys. Within this area is what is often called "the river of grass" made up of mangroves, swamps and waterways that are best navigated by air boat.

Some clubs in South Beach are famous for celebrity appearances and long lines of guests that dance the night away until 5 a.m. Among them are The Mansion and The Opium Garden.
