Go to the Delta Airlines website and select the "Flight Status" option. Enter the flight number or the departure and arrival airports along with the date of the flight and click "Check Status." You will now be able to see if the flight has been canceled, is delayed or is running on time. If the flight has been delayed, updated flight times will be displayed.
Call the flight information number for Delta at 800-325-1999. You will be prompted by the automated machine to give the flight number or the departure and arrival cities with the approximate departure or arrival time of the flight. The current flight information will be provided to you.
Navigate to a flight-tracking website such as Flight Stats, Flight View or Flight Arrivals (see Resources). To determine the status of the flight, you will use the "Live Flight Tracker" option. Enter the flight number or the departure and arrival cities and click "Search Flight." The current flight information will be displayed.
